General Rental Agreement

1. A 100% non-refundable payment is required for all reservations to guarantee the date and time of service.

2. Express Midwest and its subsidiaries are not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter, responsible for only making up lost time at a mutually agreed date.

3. The client assumes full financial responsibility, liability for all damage to our vehicles caused during the duration of the rental by customer or passengers.

4. The Sanitation Fee is a minimum of $300 for protein spill or excessive matter clean-up.

5. Drug use is prohibited by law and will result in immediate termination of the rental with no refund.

6. Alcohol consumed by anyone under the age of 21 will result in the termination of the rental with no refund.

7. All passenger fines that occur during the rental by the customer and passengers will be paid for by the customer.

8. The driver has the right to terminate a run without a refund if there is any blatant indiscretion on the part of the clients and or passengers.

9. It is illegal to stand through sunroofs, windows, and emergency exits during the rental.

10. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle, doing so will result in a minimum $300 fine per incident - NO EXCEPTIONS. Total fine is up to the discretion of the company and will be billed post trip.

11. Passengers are to remain in their seats. Sitting on the back of the seats or standing on the seats will result in a $300 fine plus immediate termination of trip.

12. Express Midwest shall not be responsible for delays or termination of service due to severe weather conditions that may prevail. 

a. These include but are not limited to road conditions causing unsafe driving such as freezing drizzle, whiteout conditions, and zero visibility. 

b. Your service may be rescheduled on a mutually agreed upon later date.

13. We're not held responsible for articles that are left in vehicles after the completion of the rental.

14. Company vehicles cannot be overloaded with passengers beyond maximum vehicle seating capacity.

15. All services that run over in time shall be charged additional hourly fees for the type of vehicle.

16. A wait time charge occurs after the first 15 minutes for all airport transfers.

17. Cancellation Policy: All canceled trips are non-refundable. We would discuss the possibility of rescheduling the service to a later date pending availability. If a trip is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled service time, all charges will stand.

18. This General Rental Agreement is binding to reservations with Express Midwest and its subsidiaries (Express Limousine Service & Black Diamond Limousine)

19. All company vehicles are properly cleaned & sanitized before every trip.

20. Upon receipt of Transportation Confirmation, the customer agrees they have read and will abide by all rules in the General Rental Agreement (GRA). Customer also agrees to notify passengers of terms and assumes liability of violations of GRA of any passengers.
